RJ x SP Connection: architecture, itinerary, and meaningful exchanges

Publicado em 1 de July de 2026

Novo Ambiente welcomed a group of architects from Rio de Janeiro in São Paulo for the third edition of Conexão RJ x SP, an initiative designed to create time to come together around architecture and design.

In a daily routine shaped by fragmented schedules and quick visits, proposing a full-day itinerary with professionals we admire creates a genuine quality in everyday exchange. There is value in bringing people together, taking them out of their contexts, and building a shared experience—made of observation and time together. Conexão RJ x SP was born from that idea.

The program began at Casa Gerassi, an important work of modern São Paulo architecture, designed by Paulo Mendes da Rocha. The visit allowed the gathering to begin with observation and a shared experience in front of a work that remains relevant. Today, the iconic property is home to architect Carlos Carvalho, of Studio Roca—another professional we admire and a long-standing partner, including in the interior setting of Casa Gerassi. Several pieces from Novo Ambiente’s curation help shape the composition, such as the Concha Armchair, by Martin Eisler and Carlo Hauner, and the Calla table, by Studio DonaFlor.

Next, we headed to lunch with the invited group. “It’s really great for us to do this kind of outing—not just a professional get-together lunch, but also this trip that fosters exchanges of experiences, getting to know other incredible professionals more deeply, these cultural connections.” –testimonial from architect Carolina Hackme

After that, the group was welcomed to our showroom, where we were able to present what’s new and share how our team of specialists works and can support them in their day-to-day specification needs. “The experience was fantastic. Getting to know the São Paulo showroom, with its distinctive design, broadened my view of the brand”– architect Ketlein Amorim.

And to close out the day of experiences, we ended the day at Casa Bradesco, on a special visit to the exhibition The Other of the Other, by Es Devlin—an exhibition in which light, sound, architecture, and movement transform individual and collective perception.

“The exhibition brought a beautiful reflection on ourselves and our connections. It was a day of so much learning, rich exchanges, great people and, of course, lots of laughs! It was a wonderful opportunity, with impeccable curation.” – Ketlein Amorim

“It was really great. An experience that involved exchange, learning, time together, and beauty. I love these dynamics!” – Francisco Hue

We are happy to host another Conexão RJ x SP, with a sequence of experiences connected by the intention of creating a context in which the relationship with architecture and design could unfold with more time and more attention.

An initiative whose relevance lies, especially, in the way the visits came together to create new bonds.
