DonaFlor Mobília celebrates “Life Outdoors” at DW!2023
The brand presents new launches in an open-air space at the event in São Paulo

A passion that goes beyond the walls of homes and rests in the coziness of balconies and backyards, with the certainty of all there is to live outdoors. It is with this concept that DonaFlor Mobília—a specialist in outdoor furniture and accessories—takes part in Latin America’s largest design week, Design Weekend DW! 2023, taking place from March 11 to 19 in São Paulo.
Celebrating the concept of “life outdoors” that permeates its creations, highlighting design with pieces full of flair and in perfect harmony between aesthetics and functionality, the brand will be present in the square in front of the Novo Ambiente store, with an exhibition that conveys Brazilianness through creativity and richness in weaves, shapes, and textures. Curated by Mila Rodrigues, the main aim is to offer the residents of São Paulo’s gray metropolis a more intimate connection with nature.

Drop Hammock
Those who pass along the bustling Alameda Gabriel Monteiro da Silva will come across the Gota Hammock. Through the designers Leo and Pedro’s perspective, the most Brazilian of furniture—of Indigenous origin—is represented in mesh, an aluminum frame, and nautical rope. The incorporated materials, according to Leonardo Lattavo, bring the materiality of DonaFlor Mobília. The drop shape and suspended configuration, explored at other times in the brand’s pieces, evoke minimalism, nature, lightness, and the absence of adornment.

Gota Hanging Armchair
Installed on the façade of Novo Ambiente, the Gota Suspended Armchair displays a formal result similar to a suspended cloth, seeking to embrace and provide the best possible ergonomic experience. Bringing together diverse elements such as wood, metal, nautical ropes, and upholstery, the piece showcases the brand’s full technical expertise in handling these materials. Allowing people to appreciate the sense of shelter and comfort it provides, it will be available to the public.
