Artemide now joins Novo Ambiente’s curation, expanding the brand’s repertoire in the field of signature lighting.
Founded in Italy, Artemide is internationally recognized for combining technological research, visual comfort, and signature design.
Its concept, “The Human Light,” is based on a straightforward principle: light should respond to human needs, adapting to context, time, and use.
Among the creations now joining the portfolio are: Tolomeo, Mendori, Melampo, and Chlorophilia—projects that translate different interpretations of light in contemporary design.
TOLOMEO
Launched in 1987 by Michele De Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina, Tolomeo redefined functional lighting by combining precision engineering with minimalist aesthetics.
Its aluminum structure and articulated arm system with springs ensure stable adjustment and complete freedom of movement.
In the Mega Floor version, the traditional metal head is replaced by a balanced diffuser, available in three sizes, which softens the light output and enhances its presence in the space.
In the Basculante Suspended version, the articulated system is reinterpreted for overhead applications, allowing precise control of light over tables, countertops, and integrated areas.
MENDORI | ISSEY MIYAKE
Mendori is part of the IN-EI collection, developed by Issey Miyake in collaboration with Artemide.
The piece emerges at the intersection of mathematics, textile technology, and design, creating sculptural volumes through precise folds.
Made from recycled material that holds its shape without an internal structure, it combines visual lightness with technical innovation.
MELAMPO | ADRIEN GARDÈRE
With a balanced design and elegant proportions, Melampo stands out for its movable diffuser, which can be tilted or inverted to change the direction of the light.
Its versatility allows it to shift between task and ambient lighting, adapting to different residential contexts.
CHLOROPHILIA | ROSS LOVEGROVE
Chlorophilia offers a more sculptural interpretation of lighting.
Its thin discs unfold in fluid movements, creating plays of light and shadow that transform the space even when switched off.
The piece sits between a functional object and an artistic element.

A French designer working across furniture, lighting, and exhibition design, he develops projects that combine function, formal balance, and spatial experience.
Versatile and elegant, it offers two seating positions: upright or semi-reclined.
ROSS LOVEGROVE
A British designer known for integrating technology,
materials science, and organic forms, creating pieces that redefine contemporary aesthetics.
