Now Herman Miller—a world leader in furniture design and innovation—also brings HAY products to Brazil. The Danish brand has been part of the group since 2018 and offers a vast portfolio of modern and contemporary items for various environments. In São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, it is already possible to order and consult the brand’s catalog at Novo Ambiente stores.

Founded in 2002 in Denmark by Mette and Rolf Hay, with the purpose of creating contemporary furniture with an eye on modern life and sophisticated industrial manufacturing, through a commitment to the design and production of furniture and accessories with international appeal, HAY aims to offer modern, functional, and aesthetic design in cooperation with some of the world’s most talented, curious, and courageous designers.

In this initial phase of the brand in Brazil, a complete selection of furniture such as sofas, tables, armchairs, chairs, stools, and other furniture options will be available. Discover some of them below:

About A Line

The About A Lounge features a compact body with shaped armrests and rounded wooden legs. In line with the rest of the collection, the sculpted design has been kept simple; nothing was left to chance.

With a molded plywood structure, this version is balanced by the minimalist wooden frame, creating a slightly more angular expression.

Uchiwa Armchairs

The soft and open shape of the Uchiwa Armchair was inspired by the traditional Japanese fan. The Uchiwa was designed to be generous and welcoming. This armchair allows you to lean back and turn your head, to the left or right, against the double backrest.

Soft Edge Line

The Soft Edge line by Iskos-Berlin features an organically shaped seat and backrest, combining strong curves with extreme lightness to create a three-dimensionality not normally possible with 2D plywood: the result is a minimalist design that optimizes human-centered comfort for constant shifting and movement.

With its wooden seat and backrest in a variety of finishes and a steel base, Soft Edge offers aesthetics, stability, and organized functionality. Its strength and stackability make it ideal for use in private and public environments—from homes to corporate spaces and cafes.

Copenhague Tables

The Copenhague line was created by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec for HAY, and the characteristic slanted legs form the collection’s identity. It includes ideal options for use as a desk, for meetings, or for dining in an office context or private environment.

Palissade Line

Created by French brothers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, Palissade is a collection of outdoor furniture for HAY, made of powder-coated or galvanized steel.

United by the common principle of symmetrical geometry, the Palissade collection was crafted to reproduce the same visual simplicity and strength across all items.

Slit Tables

The Slit table by HAY is a geometric steel side table inspired by paper origami techniques. The slender frame appears to be folded beneath the tabletop, creating a simple and sculptural form that evokes traditional Japanese paper art.

The Slit Table is available in a selection of different shapes and sizes, and a variety of contemporary colors and finishes. Compact and versatile, the table can be used alone or in groups in various private or public settings.

Tray Tables

The metal Tray table line is a multifunctional piece of furniture that can be easily adapted to meet users’ needs.

With the tray top in place, it can be used as a bedside table or coffee table. By removing the top, it becomes a tray that can be used to carry items.

Bella Tables

The Bella Coffee Table is discreet and small enough to be placed anywhere. The ultra-thin surface and molded oak legs create a functional table with a light aesthetic that can be used separately or positioned in pairs or groups.

Dapper Armchair Line

Created by Doshi Levien for HAY, the Dapper armchair represents the unmistakable fusion of industrial design, refined craftsmanship, storytelling, and technology from this designer duo. Originally created for use at a London university, the Dapper has a wider backrest for greater comfort and ideal elbow support for those working on laptops.
