A range of looks and applications
Keyn chairs are versatile in both appearance and function. A variety of looks can be achieved by combining base, shell, and frame finishes, arm selections, and a wide choice of upholstery materials for the seat pad. Four-leg chairs can be easily stacked and stored when not in use. The four-point star base option features a self-centering swivel return system that ensures meeting areas always look organized, even when unoccupied. The five-point star base with casters creates a free-moving seating option for working at a desk, collaborating with colleagues, or sitting comfortably in a meeting.
Performance
To sit in a healthier way, people need to move and change position frequently. Keyn makes this possible by responding to body movement. Its patented mechanism allows the one-piece shell structure, with backrest and seat, to glide smoothly and recline up to 10 degrees, encouraging natural movement and comfort. This sense of comfort helps the mind stay focused, which can increase productivity throughout the workday and during meetings.
The refined interior of the shell’s perforated molding reflects the chair’s color and adds textural depth, further distinguishing the design and contributing to its clean aesthetic. The perforated molding also provides ventilation for the back.
Design
A key consideration in forpeople’s design approach was ensuring that every chair variation had the same universal appeal. A refined design was achieved based on four main parts: the base, the cradle, the seat shell, and a selection of upholstery options. Keyn’s global availability makes it an attractive option for clients with other locations worldwide who seek consistency from site to site.
