Alessandro Mendini is an Italian architect born in Milan. He served as editor-in-chief of the magazines Casabella, Modo, and Domus. Monographs on his work and personal projects created in collaboration with the Alchimia group have been published in different languages. Alessandro Mendini creates design objects, furniture, interiors, paintings, installations, and architecture. He works with international manufacturers and also serves as an image consultant and art director for companies in both Europe and the Far East.
