Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec were born in Quimper, Brittany, in 1971 and 1976 respectively. After graduating from the École Nationale de Arts Décoratifs in Paris, Ronan began working independently, assisted by his brother Erwan, who was studying at the École de Beaux Arts in Cergy Pontoise.
The brothers have worked together since 1999, and their works are constant dialogues between two different personalities, united by common goals.
