Martin Eisler (1913 – 1977), an Austrian architect and set designer, studied architecture in his home country before moving to Argentina to escape World War II.
He was one of the founding partners of Forma, initially called Móveis Artesanais, in the late 1950s, which was brought to Brazil due to the needs surrounding the founding of Brasília. He founded the company Interieur, which after the creation of Forma in Brazil, also took on that name—a company that remains with the family to this day. He passed away in Brazil, the country where he made his greatest contribution as a designer.
