Portrait Chair

The Portrait Chair was the winner of a design competition sponsored by Statsbygg (Norwegian Directorate of Public Construction and Property) and co-organized by the National Museum of Norway. The brief called for a reception and multifunctional chair for use in public museum spaces. The jury, chaired by British designer Jasper Morrison, awarded Portrait as “a beautiful chair that adds seductive softness and elegance to the environment where it will be used.”
