Rio de Janeiro designer Leonardo Mangiavacchi holds a degree in INDUSTRIAL DESIGN from ISIA (Istituto Superiore per le Industrie Artistiche) in Rome and specializes in Creación del Producto from UPC (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya) in Barcelona. Between 1997 and 2000, he worked as a designer in Barcelona, winning awards such as the ADI/FAD medal and the ''El reloj de 2000'' competition.
