Wanders graduated cum laude from the School of the Arts Arnhem in 1988. It was there that he began shaping his design philosophy, which focuses more on people than on things. “You should not design for industry, but for people,” he explains. With that in mind, the designer has been crossing boundaries with a distinctive style and great originality. More romantic than renegade, Wanders speaks of how he seeks to look into people’s hearts to understand what they need. Perhaps this sentence best sums up his mission: “I seek to create an environment of love, live with passion, and make our most interesting dreams come true.”
