Philippe Starck is a Paris-born designer, born on January 18, 1949, and a graduate of the École Nissim de Camondo in Paris. Philippe Starck distinguished himself in the design world with a unique, highly personal, and organic style, bringing a futuristic and inviting feel to everyday objects, making them more appealing to consumers. Starck founded his first design company in 1968, and by the following year (1969), he became the art director for Pierre Cardin. He is world-renowned for his light and contemporary design, both in form and in the materials he employs in his creations.
