Marcos and Gilmar have always created pieces since the beginning of their careers—which started in 1987. “We don’t separate architecture from furniture. It’s important to have this complete approach, from the detail to the big picture. It’s the idea of giving the client something original, so their project is unique,” they explain. And they add: “What people look for in interior design today is to tell their story. To seek pieces they identify with and that, in the end, represent their personality. So what we believe we do is design a repertoire to contribute to each person’s narrative. If someone identifies with it, it’s as if we were producing words to complete that story.”
