
Piero Lissoni
Piero Lissoni is an architect, art director, and designer (1956).
Together with Nicoletta Canesi, Piero Lissoni founded the Lissoni Associati studio in 1986. He began collaborating as a designer and art director with some of the finest Italian and international furniture manufacturers.
In 1996, they created Graph.x to develop graphic projects.
The studio’s work spans architecture, graphic and industrial design, with projects ranging from furniture, accessories, kitchens, bathrooms, and lighting to corporate identity, advertising, catalogs, and packaging. Interior design projects include hotels, showrooms, trade stands, private homes, stores, and yachts.
The studio currently employs more than 70 people, made up of architects, designers, and graphic designers, and creates solutions for Alessi, Boffi, Cappellini, Cassina, Fantini, Flos / Antares, Fritz Hansen, Glas Italia, Kartell, Knoll International, Lema, Living Divani, Lualdi, Matteograssi, Olivari, Pierantonio Bonacina, Poltrona Frau, Porro, Riva 1920, Sabattini, Tecno, and Thonet.
Forays into the fashion world include design stores and showrooms for brands such as Benetton, Brosway, Gallo, Piazza Sempione, Santandrea, and Serapian, as well as showrooms and corporate identity for the New York-based American designer Elie Tahari.
