Paulo Goldstein
He is a designer/artist. He was born in São Paulo in 1980.
Paulo graduated in Fine Arts from FAAP (2003) and continued working as an illustrator for magazines and children’s books until moving to the United Kingdom in 2006, where he worked as a sculptor and model maker on numerous stop-motion animation projects, including Wes Anderson’s “Fantastic Mr. Fox” and Tim Burton’s “Frankenweenie”.
In 2012, Paulo completed a Master’s in Industrial Design at Central Saint Martins in London, where he developed his “Repair is Beautiful” project, taking part in several exhibitions, including “COLLECT 2013” at the Saatchi Gallery, and from April to September 2015 it will be at the Victoria & Albert Museum.
In 2013, he was invited by Jeremy Till, Dean of Central Saint Martins, to transform an unused space at the college into his living room, following the concept of scarcity—thus the “Scarcity Project” was born.
