Mauricio Bomfim was born in 1978 in the state of Minas Gerais, southeastern Brazil. He began his career as a store manager in the furniture industry, leading a chain in the greater Belo Horizonte area where he worked in furniture curation and store image and layout.
A graduate in Interior Design, he started his own venture in 2014 and founded MB Studio Design. The firm develops projects across various fields—interior design and architecture, residential, commercial, and product design—always with an eye tuned to the best in national and international design and art. For Mauricio, a good project must include an interactive relationship with the client, full of affection, humor, and observation.
