Lucas Takaoka
A 2015 graduate in Architecture and Urbanism from Mackenzie Presbyterian University, he always aimed to open his own firm. In late 2016, he began working on projects in the Brazilian Northeast remotely, which led to clients from other states seeking him out for new projects.
In 2018, he delved into the design market, creating signature furniture pieces that often arise from specific needs in architectural projects. Today, he partners with two factories that manufacture his products and sell them in major Brazilian capitals, such as São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Salvador, and Porto Alegre, among other states.
With his physical office opened in 2019, his design range now extends from signature furniture and landscaping to residential, commercial, and urban projects. He was even awarded second place in a public competition for the revitalization of Maringá’s urban center.
This versatility is essential for working across the various scales encountered in a professional’s routine.
