Gerhard Reichert is the founder and owner of Reichert Design. Since 2007, he has also been a Product Design professor at the Schwäbisch Gmünd University of Design. From 1997 to 2004, Reichert worked with Michele de Lucchi in Milan, where he designed and developed products for Armani, Artemide, Molteni, Dada, Mauser Office, etc.

Reichert Design develops strategies, products, and product systems for clients such as Airbus Space, Artemide, Interstuhl, Koleksiyon, etc.

From 2004 to 2007, Reichert was a professor at the Aachen University of Applied Sciences. He studied Mechanical Engineering at the State Academy of Art and Design Stuttgart and was a visiting professor at San José State University in California and at TEC University in Costa Rica.
