Claudia Moreira Salles was born in Rio de Janeiro in 1955 and graduated from the Superior School of Industrial Design (Esdi) in the same city in 1978. She developed several projects for mass production with industries. In the mid-1980s, she settled in São Paulo and began designing furniture with extreme technical refinement and artisanal or semi-artisanal craftsmanship, using the possibilities of wood.

The designer’s creations have already crossed the country’s borders. Her furniture has been published in several specialized magazines in various countries and is sold in some cities abroad, such as New York, Los Angeles, Paris, Lisbon, and Düsseldorf.
