After graduating in Architecture from the University of Venice, Italy, and gaining diverse experiences—from learning glassblowing in Murano to working with traditional ceramics in Japan—Alberto Brogliato and Federico Traverso founded the BrogliatoTraverso design studio in 2014.

Their approach to design is called ‘NO TIME, NO SPACE,’ referring to their desire to create objects with a timeless design that fits into any environment.

BrogliatoTraverso works through subtraction, creating a detailed yet nearly invisible signature. Through these subtly implied forms, their creations establish a deep and intimate empathy with users and their surroundings, respecting both.

Their refined simplification process delivers projects that meet consumer needs and are produced for various design brands.

These partnerships have earned the studio many international awards, including the Red Dot Design Award, the German Design Award, the iF Design Award, Best Interior Design of the Year, and the Good Design Award.
