Belvedere is the latest creation by Ludovica Serafini and Roberto Palomba. The chair’s name evokes the timeless elegance of Vienna’s Belvedere Palace, Austria’s most prestigious museum of art and tradition. The design is the result of the meeting between the refined heritage of traditional Viennese chairs and Kartell’s research into advanced materials and solutions. Viennese cane is paired with a recycled plastic frame to create a lightweight, modern product. Though seemingly in contrast, the two materials engage in an effective dialogue to create an original stylistic blend. The result is a perfect balance between craftsmanship and technology, past and future. Belvedere embodies a sober, rigorous elegance and transcends time to establish itself as a symbol of contemporary refinement.
