Kartell once again plays with the reinterpretation of a great classic, giving a new look to the Windsor chair. The White Comback Rocking Chair is a return to the glorious Anglo-Saxon past of the 18th century for a “Comb Back” version chair with a structure characterized by a backrest consisting of a comb-shaped frame with seven teeth that widens toward the base, reinforced by a hexagonal edge that joins the seat through thin vertical axes in a radial format. With generous dimensions, the monoblock seat combines functionality and ergonomics with a high degree of emotion and memory. The use of plastic material and the proposal of soft colors give lightness and contemporaneity to the Comback chair. This version brings experimentation and combination of diverse materials such as plastic and wood, which are interpreted in a captivating way also in the country chic version. A memory that recovers ancient traditions and emotions, evoking the chairs that adorned the verandas of colonial houses or the more nostalgic image of grandmother’s chair.
