In the Tropos Collection, Estúdio Iludi seeks tropical complexity through a few rhetorical strokes. An irony in bringing some of the peculiarities of the much-celebrated ‘brasilidade’ to minimalism.

What if, instead of curves, we spoke of folds? What if the wood-sculpted structure gained the delicacy, strength, and modernity of steel with just a laminated cladding? Within the natural beauty lies a rigid structure, shaped by time and resilience.

The ‘brasilis plurality’ sets the rhythm. The line comprises a chair, armchair, and a versatile duo: a stool that serves as a side table and a bench that can be used as a coffee table. A sustainable syncretism that feels organic, even in its straight lines.
