The Kayra Chair was designed to emphasize organic, flowing shapes. Its complete absence of corners and angles is part of a design style the designer calls “liquid design”. The rounded solid-wood frame with generous radii made it possible to produce it with thicker, more durable material without losing visual delicacy. With modern, elegant lines, Kayra also carries a subtle vintage touch of Danish design, with an unmatched sculptural character. The proportions are generous to ensure a piece that will not go unnoticed in the dining room, and the upholstered seat and backrest were carefully positioned to provide a comfortable, cozy sit.
